Self Care During Self Isolation
Our instructions are clear... Stay Home.. but we all know this can be challenging. Take peace in the fact that we are all in this together and this will not be forever - so for now do your part and take some time for self care.. below we share some ways to do this.
Perfect that Skincare Routine
Always running in the morning or too tired in the evening to do a proper skincare routine? Haven’t had the time to research and investigate the right products? Well there is no time like the present! Why not use this time to create a skincare routine that works for your skin type, concerns and budget! You now have more free time to maintain this routine and can continue it into your day-to-day when self isolation is no longer!

Add that one thing..
A hot bath with a glass of wine every Friday night or a face mask on Tuesdays and Thursdays - add atleast one thing for self care to look forward to..
Masks are a great addition, they not only make us feel better - but are also important to give your skin an extra boost during the week. We break down which mask type works for which skin type here. Don’t forget masking for your hair also works wonders - especially if you will not be seeing a hair stylist any time soon! Try and use this period to avoid heat styling products and add deep conditioning and masking to your hair care routine.
Stay Active
Exercising is essential for both physical and mental health especially during this time. There are some incredible at home workout apps, youtube videos and Instagram Lives from amazing London studios. Some of our favourites to follow are @KrissyCela, @XtendBarre and Core Collective.
Practicing Yoga and Meditation can also help reduce stress and anxiety during this time. @TashYoga and @FionaLamb are some of our favourites hosting live sessions on Zoom and Instagram.
Alone Time In a Quiet Space
Staying home with family or house mates might be overwhelming at times during the next few weeks. Try to find some time alone in a peaceful space in your home. Our environment often affects our mental state so ensure this space is quiet, clean and tidy. Adding a scented candle or fresh flowers to the room can create a relaxing ambiance. Take this time to read a good book, watch some interesting content or catch up on some work - ensure you switch off from the news and conversations surrounding the topic.
